Shellharbour’s another step closer to becoming a key marine and tourism destination.
Construction’s now underway on the Shellharbour Boathouse, with council officially breaking ground at the Shell Cove Waterfront earlier today.
Jointly funded by the NSW Government and Council, the landmark $30 million project aims to strengthen recreational and commercial boating by providing a local hub for vessel storage, maintenance and repairs.

The facility’s expected to be completed and open to the public in mid 2027.
