Kiama Council has approved its 2026-27 draft budget, which will now go on Public Exhibition for the next 28 days.
Councillors have opted against applying for a special rate variation at this stage but have flagged service reductions and staffing establishment reductions, to ‘right-size’ operations.
Mayor Cameron McDonald said there are still many important decisions to be made over coming weeks, after listening to the community about what matters to them.
