Former Corrimal Cougars junior Skye Spencer has earned an NRLW call up with the St George Illawarra Dragons, in what’s being described as a landmark moment for women’s rugby league in the Illawarra.
The Australian Schoolgirls representative will join the development list in 2027, before stepping into the top squad in 2028.
Spencer will become the first player in club history to progress from the Lisa Fiaola and Tarsha Gale Cups, through the NRLW Academy, and into the elite squad.
