A protest gathering is planned for Saturday at Bellambi Beach, as locals and supporters rail against government-backed development plans.
Organisers said Homes NSW has committed to having 30-percent, of a proposed re-development for 2,500 residences set aside for ‘social housing’, no allowance has been made for ‘public housing’.
The rally, organised by NSW Socialists, will take place at noon on Saturday, it comes in response to a NSW Government proposal to redevelop the area in Bellambi.
