It is that time of the month again where our digital libraries get a much-needed injection of life. PlayStation has officially announced the March PlayStation Plus Monthly Games, and there’s something for everybody. Whether you are looking to master a professional swing, hunt down gargantuan beasts, or simply farm some sentient jelly, there is something here to distract you from your ever-growing “backlog of shame.”

These four titles will be available for members to claim from Tuesday, 3 March until Monday, 6 April. So,let’s dive into what you’ll be downloading this week.

The Big Hitters: From Fairways to Folklore

First up, we have PGA Tour 2K25 (PS5). If you have ever wanted to experience the stress of a professional golfer without the actual walking or the questionable fashion choices, this is your moment. For the first time in the franchise, you can tackle the “Big Three” of The PGA Championship, The U.S. Open, and The Open Championship. With an expanded MyCareer mode and deeper customisation, it is arguably the most polished golfing experience on the console. It is time to see if those “unintentional” water hazards were actually skill issues or just bad luck.

For those who prefer their targets a little more… aggressive, Monster Hunter Rise (PS5, PS4) is a massive win. Inspired by Japanese folklore, you’ll be zip-lining through the air with Wirebugs and riding your new Palamute companions into battle. The loop is as addictive as ever, hunt a monster, turn it into a fancy pair of trousers, and use those trousers to hunt an even bigger monster. It is a win-win for everyone involved, except perhaps the monsters.

Exploration and “Slime-tastic” Adventures

If the intensity of a giant Rathalos is a bit much for your weekend, Slime Rancher 2 (PS5) is the perfect palate cleanser. You return as Beatrix LeBeau, exploring the vibrant Rainbow Island. It is a first-person adventure that manages to be both relaxing and surprisingly deep. You’ll be collecting “wiggling, jiggling” slimes and building a conservatory that looks like a prismatic dream. It is wholesome, it is colourful, and just wonderfully weird.

Finally, The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road (PS5, PS4). This isn’t just a base game; this collection grants access to all major Chapter zones across Tamriel. If you’ve spent hundreds of hours in Skyrim, this takes you back 1,000 years before those events. From the mushroom forests of Morrowind to the chaotic realms of Oblivion, the scale here is staggering. Just keep in mind that the 2025 Content Pass isn’t included, but there is more than enough here to keep you busy.

Don’t Forget the February Departures

As the saying goes, out with the old and in with the new. You have until Monday, 2 March to secure February’s offerings. If you haven’t already, make sure to add these to your library:

  • Undisputed
  • Subnautica: Below Zero
  • Ultros
  • Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Once you’ve claimed them, they stay in your library for as long as you have an active subscription. Don’t be the person who forgets and spends the rest of the month in a state of mild regret.
