Police have renewed their appeal for information as they continue investigating the alleged murder of a man in Wollongong more than six months on.
Emergency services were called to a unit on Crown Street about 3.20am on Sunday, 17 August, after reports of a stabbing.
A 28 year old man was found with stab wounds to his chest and was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
He died six days after the attack, on Saturday 23 August.
A crime scene was established and detectives from Wollongong Police District formed Strike Force Alcalde to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police are now re-appealing for help to identify a man they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.
He was spotted wearing dark clothing and riding a bicycle north along Hector Street around the time of the incident.
