A new health partnership is set to ease pressure on Illawarra Hospitals.
NSW Ambulance and the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District are rolling out two extra extended care Paramedic vehicles, helping to treat patients in the community, instead of in Emergency Departments.
The program will also expand the Virtual Care Clinic, linking patients with GPs and other services, and keeping ambulances free for emergencies.
