Police investigations have begun after a woman’s body was located outside Lake Illawarra Police station.
A critical incident investigation is underway, with the 48-year-olds body, found at around 4:30pm Friday 5 December 2025, officers from Lake Illawarra Police, located the body of the woman in a vehicle.
Early indications are that the body had been in the vehicle since about 6:30pm on Tuesday 2 December 2025.
