It has been revealed that popular cooking show, Masterchef, is losing not one but all three of its judges.   Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris will not return next season according to Network Ten.   The news went public ahead of Tuesday evening's grand final.  The hosts of The Project admitting they were meant to have Matt Preston on but he wouldn't be appearing because of the mass exodus.   Now in its 11th season, the show has been plagued by controversy, with many calling for George Calombaris to be dumped for underpaying staff.   It was initially claimed that Calombaris owed staff over $2 million but that was later revised up to $7.8 million.   Calombaris recently lost his deal with Tourism WA as the face of their 'design your own Gourmet escape' campaign.   Network chief executive Paul Anderson told the crew from The Project that the decision had nothing to do with the controversy surrounding Calombaris but rather that they could not come to an agreement after months of talks. He also indicated that the decision by the well known trio to move on would give producers a chance to give Masterchef a refresh.   Debate turns now to whether or not the successful show can survive such a bug change moving forward and who would fill those shoes.   By Michelle Price
