The Australian public have decided who will represent our fair nation at this years Eurovision contest.
Over the weekend, ten of Australia’s most exciting performers took to the stage on the Gold Coast for the chance to represent the country at the annual music competition.
An expert jury assessed the performances and then Australia weighed in by casting votes throughout the night, each accounting for 50 per cent of the contestant’s final score.
There were many strong performances, but one reined supreme, that of Kate Miller-Heidke, with her song Zero Gravity.
Her performance saw her get the highest rating from both the jury and the public.
Kate Miller-Heidke will represent Australia at this year’s Eurovision Song contest at Tel Aviv, in May.
