One of the most popular chocolate treats in the world is getting a new flavour and god it sounds delish!
Parent company Mars Wrigley has announced that the new Mocha Mud Cake flavoured M&M’s are hitting stores nationwide from early August but will only be available for a limited time.
The company has clearly done its research and knows that a whopping 75 percent of Australians drink coffee daily, so this new treat is looking to tap into that market.
The new choccy treat has a mocha mud cake centre which is a fudge-like texture and is coated in M&M’s famous crispy chocolate shell.

Ben Hill, Mars Wrigley’s marketing director said that “We know Australians love coffee, our love and appreciation for coffee-flavoured chocolate treats continues to grow year on year”.
“Consumers are increasingly looking for innovation beyond just flavour, with texture becoming an increasing focal point to enhance the ‘eating experience’.
“As a company, we’ve been investing into the growth and development of our Bitesize portfolio over the last few years, focusing on consumer-led innovation, and we’re now at a really exciting stage as we’re starting to see the products land on shelves across the country.”
The new flavour was created and is being manufactured at Mars Wrigley’s Ballarat Innovation Hub and comes after the iconic company announced its $28 million investment into its Ballarat operations earlier in 2023.
The brand new M&M’s Mocha Mud Cake is now available nationwide for $5.50 for a limited time only.
