Invisible sculpture sells for $24 thousand

An Italian artist has sold an invisible sculpture to an anonymous buyer for $24,000 - that's right, invisible sculpture.

Salvatore Garau says the artwork isn't there in a materialistic form but rather in a vacuum of energy.

“The vacuum is nothing more than a space full of energy, and even if we empty it and there is nothing left, according to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, that ‘nothing’ has a weight,” Garau told HypeBeast.

This isn’t the 67 year old's first invisible piece either, he also created the invisible sculpture below called Buddha In Contemplation.
