Kate Miller-Heidke prepares for Eurovision 2019

In just over one week till Kate Miller Heidke will perform at Eurovision 2019.

This time next week Australia’s representative in this year’s Eurovision song contest Kate Miller-Heidke, will be gearing up to take the stage, performing her hit Zero Gravity.

Heidke was named the Australian representative after a nationwide talent search earlier this year.

Here at Wavefm, we’re looking forward to seeing what Heidke will wear and how she’ll hit those operatic high notes while balancing on a bendy beam!

We’re still not quite sure HOW Australia was once again able to compete in Europe’s biggest song contest that calls for a representative from each country in EUROPE but we’ll take it and run an office sweep with it!

Elle in Admin is ADAMANT that she’ll take first place this year but Tony in production believes that Australia will never win because the winner of the year hosts the entire competition the following year and like hell, all of the contestants are going to fly to Australia to perform next year. What do you think?

Eurovision, the song contest that helped launch the careers of some of our music favourites like Abba, Olivia Newton John, Cliff Richard, Katrina & The Waves and T.a.t.u – Dya remember this?

The contest will be held in Tel Aviv and begin on Wednesday May 15 and conclude on Saturday May 18.
