Wollongong Police investigate Bellambi robberies

Police have released CCTV images as they appeal for information following three armed robberies at a service station in Bellambi earlier this year.

Between February and April, a service station on Rothery Road, Bellambi, was targeted by an unknown offender or offenders, armed with a knife, on three separate occasions.

Just after 4.30am Sunday 6 February 2022, a man - with his face concealed - entered a service station on Rothery Road, Bellambi, and threatened a male employee with a knife.

The man stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing south on a bicycle on Pioneer Road.

About 11.10pm Wednesday 2 March 2022, two male employees were threatened by an unknown man with a knife at the same service station.

The man stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing south on foot along Pioneer Road. The employees were not physically injured.

Then, about 2.15am Friday 29 April 2022, an unknown man forced locked automatic doors open with his shoulder, before threatening the male employee with a knife.

He stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing south on Pioneer Drive.

On all occasions, officers attached to Wollongong Police District commenced an investigation, but have so far been unsuccessful.
