Another day of one Illawarra Shoalhaven COVID-19 case

The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District has recorded one COVID-19 case in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

The case is from the 2500 postcode in the Wollongong Local Government Area and acquired the virus overseas.

For the week ending Sunday 14 November, there were 17,310 COVID tests undertaken across the LHD.

There have been 2,490 cases of COVID-19 in the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District since June, as of 8pm Wednesday 17 November, there were seven patients being treated in hospital as a result of COVID-19.

NSW recorded 262 new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

Across NSW, 94.3 per cent of people aged 16 and over have received a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 91.4 per cent are fully vaccinated.

Of the people aged 12-15, 80.7 per cent have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 74.2 per cent are fully vaccinated.

The total number of vaccines administered in NSW is now 12,729,206.
