The centrepiece of the Waterfront Dining precinct at the Shell Cove Marina is nearing completion.
The $20 million tavern is on track to open in late November with the ceiling finishes underway.
It'll be the third venue to come online following the opening of the Salty Squid this month and Georgia Rose in mid-October.
Dining precinct General Manager, Bobby Corbett said the design of the tavern has capitalised on its location.
"Every single window panel in the tavern opens to a 90 degree angle so there will be plenty of fresh coastal air to complement the views," he said.
"We know it's the major venue the community is most looking forward to enjoying," Corbett said.
"We're so excited to see all our planning and hard work coming to fruition," he said.
"At this stage our focus is on making sure our staff and systems are operating smoothly so the quality of our service adds to the quality of our food and the location at all these venues," Corbett said.
More venues will also be opening in the precinct in the months ahead.
