The Samaras Family has taken to social media, to address what it calls rumours and harmful allegations about the family.

In a statement the family says they took the decision to shut both restaurants in Woonona and Wollongong, along with it's food truck, after a staff member, who worked in the food truck on Thursday and Friday last week tested positive for COVID-19. They took action to halt operations for two weeks.

Following their decision to shut their operations over the COVID-19 concerns, allegations have been made about the family, hosting a Berkeley party, visitors from Bankstown, along with other claims.

On their Facebook page, the family has denied the claims, and has called for unity, but has stressed that defamatory claims against them, could lead to legal action.
