A 20-year-old P1 driver has lost his licence for six months and copped a heavy fine after allegedly being pinged 67km/h over the speed limit on the M1 at Maddens Plains.
Police clocked him travelling northbound on the motorway allegedly doing 157 while restricted to 90km/h just before one o'clock yesterday afternoon.
"He was stopped and offered no excuse for his speed," Police said.
He was also fined $2,547 for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h.
