A public health alert has been issued for parts of the South Coast after the person from Victoria who has tested positive for Coronavirus visited a number of locations in the Shoalhaven and Goulburn.
The infected person reported symptoms on May 25 after driving back to Melbourne the day before.
NSW Health said the person was in Jervis Bay, Hyams Beach, Vincentia and Goulburn while potentially infectious on the 23rd and 24th of May.
Health detectives are continuing to investigate the movements of the case.
NSW Health is asking anyone who was at the following venues on Sunday May 23 and Monday the 24th to contact them immediately on 1800 943 553, get tested and isolate until further notice.
Hyams Beach - Cooked Goose Café (formerly Hyams Beach Café), 76 Cyrus Street: Sunday 23 May, 10am-12pm.
Jervis Bay - Green Patch campground, Booderee National Park, Village Bay Road: Sunday 23 May all day, Monday 24 May until 9am.
Vincentia - Coles Vincentia Shopping Village, 21 The Wool Road: Sunday 23 May, 12-1pm.
Goulburn - Shell Coles Express Big Merino, 1/3 Sowerby Street: Monday 24 May, 10-11.30am.
Goulburn - Trapper’s Bakery, 4 Sowerby Street: Monday 24 May 10.30-11.30am.
The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District is setting up a pop up drive through testing clinic in Huskisson which will be operational from today.
NSW Health is asking those who live in Jervis Bay or visited the area since Saturday May 22 to be especially vigilant for the onset of even the mildest of cold-like symptoms.
Those people are urged to get tested immediately if symptoms appear, then isolate until a negative result is received.
Additionally, anyone who has recently had symptoms should also get tested.
