A social media Facebook group called 'NSW Speed Camera Locations', has revealed information regarding the Government's plans for speeding vehicles.
The group says on it's page that, "A majority of the new Unmarked Mobile Speed Camera Vehicles will be large 4 door utes with the camera system hidden in the tray covered by a canopy. They will be all sorts of colours and makes. The system has already started and will have up to 150 units by mid this year."
On November 19, 2020 Minister for Transport and Roads Andrew Constance, and Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Paul Toole, announced changes to the mobile speed camera program for NSW, which include increased enforcement hours, and a reduction in 'high visibility livery' on vehicles, along with the removal of 'warning signs'.
