There were plenty of highlights for Illawarra athletes at the the NSW All Schools Athletics Championships at Homebush over the weekend.
Corpus Christi's Delta Amidzovski and Bulli's Tom Partland came away with seven gold medals between them.
Amidzovski cleaned up in the 14 girls, taking out the 90 and 200 metre hurdles as well as the long and high jump where she soared within two centimetres of the meet record with a winning mark of 1.78 metres.
12-year-old Partland continued to build his reputation as one of the best runners in the region as he claimed the track treble.
Partland blitzed the field to win the 800 metres by more than three seconds before breaking the meet record by more than three and a half seconds in the 1500.
The Wollongong Little Athletics Club member then completed his winning weekend with a narrow victory in the 400 metres.
