Humpback freed off Wattamolla Beach

A multi-agency operation has saved the day for a juvenile humpback that became tangled in netting off Wattamolla Beach in the Royal National Park.

Crews from the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and Marine Rescue worked together to cut the humpback out of a tangled mess after being discovered in trouble yesterday.

The whale that is believed to be about three-years-old has now resumed its journey down the South Coast.
