The Dragons have lost one of their own local products.
Euan Aitken's confirmed that he's moving on at the end of the season after signing a three year deal with the New Zealand Warriors.
The 25-year-old was developed by the Dragons after coming through the junior ranks but the club didn't see him in its future plans.
The former Shellharbour Shark confirmed the move to Auckland on Instagram.
"Firstly I would just like to thank @nrl_dragons for opportunity to play for such a proud club, I also want to thank the proud members and fans for the support over the years.
"Sadly my time at the dragons has come to end but I’m keen to finish the year of on a high with my mates.
"Although when one door closes another one opens and I’m super excited say I’ve signed with the @nzwarriors and can’t wait for the new challenge that lies ahead," Aitken's post said.
