The Hawks new owners have landed another big name off-court, signing experienced strength and conditioning coach Adam Roberts.
After spending the last couple of years working alongside head coach Brian Goorjian in China, Roberts has been hired as the club's High Performance Manager.
Roberts has worked in the strength and conditioning field for over 20 years, holding positions with English Premier League clubs West Ham United and Fulham FC and the Chinese Olympic Association.
Hawks Co-Owner Dorry Kordahi said Roberts will oversee the club’s strength and conditioning, sports science and rehab programs.
"We want to ensure our players have the best available support on and off the floor.
"The new ownership group places a high value on strength and conditioning and Adam has a strong history of getting the best out of athletes and will be an important acquisition for the club," Kordahi said.
Roberts said he was excited to join forces with Goorjian again and provide the Hawks players with a world-class program to ensure they perform at an optimum level.
The Hawks are set to announce their first player signings with the free agency period starting tomorrow.
