Three drivers have lost their licences for three months each, after they were caught driving at more than 45km/h over the speed limit, in separate incidents in the Royal National Park yesterday.
Officers from Sutherland Traffic and Highway Patrol monitoring vehicles on Lady Wakehurst Drive yesterday, and caught the drivers over a three-hour period. Each driver was issued a fine for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h, with a penalty of $2,482 and six demerit points.
Two other drivers have been given Traffic Infringement Notices, after being detected more than 30km/h above the 60km/h speed limit.
