Shellharbour City Council has followed Wollongong and reopened its sportsfields so local clubs can return to training.
Council said strict public heath rules are in place with training groups no larger than 10 permitted while social distancing and hand hygiene is required.
Shellharbour has also opened up its return chutes at City and Warilla libraries to reduce the number of returns when libraries reopen with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
Council said existing loans have been extended to June 30 and has reminded borrowers that they don't issue fines.
