The Knights have apparently agreed to terms with Dragons origin forward Tyson Frizell.
NRL.com is reporting that Frizell has accepted a three-year contract worth around $2 million to relocate to Newcastle.
Frizell has been in talks with the Knights for sometime and is believed to have made up his mind in the days before the NRL season was suspended because of Coronavirus.
The NRL is expected to look very closely at any contract if and when it is announced after suspending all new deals and contract registrations during the health crisis.
The Knights or Dragons are yet to make an official announcement on Frizell's playing future.
