Tomorrow's Shoalhaven bushfire recovery benefit will now take place at Crooked River Winery in Gerringong after being moved from Cambewarra Estate following the recent wet weather.

Haven's Heroes has been organised by comedian Sam McCool.

The event will not only recognise the region's firefighters but also provide an opportunity for the community to get together.

"We just wanted to steer away from it just being a fundraiser.

"Focus on recovery and also raising funds but raising spirits as well and that's where the entertainment side of it comes in," McCool said.

Haven's Heroes will open tomorrow afternoon by recognising the region's firefighters.

"We wanted to make sure that it really is celebrating those heroes.

"What they're doing as volunteers is incredible and with the RFS parade and lap of honour, they'll get some of that direct recognition from the community they're serving," he said.

McCool said there'll be music, comedy, magicians, food and plenty of wine.
