Albion Park Rail - RFS donation tins stolen

Lake Illawarra Police are asking for info after two 'bushfire charity tins' were stolen from a business at Albion Park Rail overnight.

About 3am today a security alarm went off at a licensed premises on the Princes Highway, after a glass door was smashed at the rear of the property, two charity tins raising funds for the RFS and recent fire appeal were taken from the counter, before the alleged offender fled on foot. 

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen a man wearing an aqua hooded jumper, blue jeans and black and white Nike shoes around the time of the incident. Lake Illawarra Police District Acting Inspector Matt Brophey said anyone with information is urged to contactLake Illawarra Police, or CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
