The SES is reminding us to stay out of flood waters as the Illawarra continues to be drenched.
Saville Road in Dapto experienced flash flooding overnight.
Up to 20 millimetres of rain is forecast for the Illawarra again today as well as a late storm.
Rosemary Barr from the Bureau of Meteorology said unlike the last day and half, the rain will be much lighter.
"We'll continue to see showers across the region but we aren't expecting nearly the kind of rain fall totals we were seeing.
"This will also be in much more showery rain so it won't be quite as persistent and it'll be a lot more patchy," she said.
Bellambi's received the biggest drenching since the rain arrived on Monday afternoon.
More than 55 mills has been recorded in the suburb.
Kiama has picked up 38 and Albion Park 36 while almost 48 mills has fallen in Nowra.
A shower or two is expected tomorrow and possibly again on Friday.
