Camouflaged robber holds up servo at gun point

Less than a week after a person dressed as Captain America robbed a Batehaven business at gun point another armed robbery has happened on the South Coast.

A man wearing a 'ghillie' suit held up a service station in Mogo early yesterday morning.

The robber pulled a firearm on the male attendant before demanding cash and cigarettes and fleeing on foot across the Princes Highway.

Police said no one was injured in the hold up.

The man is described as being approximately 175cm tall which fits in the same zone as the height of the Captain America robber.

Police seized a number of items from the scene for forensic examination and are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a motorbike in the area around 12am yesterday.

Any information can be provided by calling Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
