Berkeley raised Broncos star Jack Bird is fighting fit for the upcoming NRL season.
The former Blues utility has dropped five kilograms and fully recovered from an injury riddled 2018 campaign.
Bird is expected to partner James Roberts in the centres this year.
Brisbane winger Corey Oates said he is excited about playing outside Bird this season.
"I feel like we're going to have a really good year together, it feels really good, he's got so much talent.
"He's good, he's just a bit worried about playing left side as he's always played right side in his career," Oates said.
