Three Warilla rugby league players to fight assault charges


Three rugby league players charged over a brawl in Shellharbour in August have vowed to fight the charges.

The trio aged in their 20's from the Warilla-Lake South Gorillas are accused of assaulting a player from the Shellharbour Stingrays after a game on August 5.

JAIDEN PAUL KING his brother NICHOLAS TERRY KING and team mate AARON VICTOR JOSEPH SULTANA.. are all facing two charges each of Assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of other(s) and Affray..

In Port Kembla Local Court on Wednesday they all pleaded not guilty and have been granted continuing bail, with the matter listed for mention in November.
