Roads and Maritime Services will carry out night work from Sunday 25 March on Lawrence Hargrave Drive at Stanwell Park and Stanwell Tops to improve slope stability.
The work will involve removing trees and hazardous rocks as well as carrying out investigations for future slope stabilisation work.
It will require the closure of Lawrence Hargrave Drive between Railway Crescent and Stonehaven Road between 8pm and 4am from Sunday 25 to Wednesday 28 March, weather permitting.
The road will be closed in both directions and detours will be in place via M1 Princes Motorway, Bulli Pass and Lawrence Hargrave Drive.
“Residents of Stanwell Park should enter and exit from the Stanwell Park end of the closure and at Stanwell Tops residents should use the Helensburgh end of the closure.
The RMS will also be working with Endeavour Energy to remove trees near power lines during this work. Endeavour Energy will contact residents regarding any impacts.
The community is advised there will be some noise and lighting associated with this work. Work on Monday night will require noisy machinery including chainsaws and mulching equipment.
