Flu Shot Mandatory For Some Hospital Workers

All staff in "high risk" hospital wards across the Illawarra will be made to get a flu jab, after last year's horror season.
The vaccine will, for the first time, be mandatory for those working in neonatal, maternity, intensive care, transplant, and cancer wards.
Health Minister Brad Hazzard says everyone should get immunised:" After last year we all know just how bad flu can be. It can kill it can put people in hospital for very long periods. Have your flu shot. For staff, frontline and very vulnerable patients it's now mandatory. You must do it by June 1."
