Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcycle crash seriously injured two men at Albion Park on Saturday.
About 6.30pm a 35-year-old man was riding a motorcycle south on Ashburton Drive, with a 29-year-old man as a pillion passenger, when the rider lost control and struck a wire rope safety barrier.
The collision threw both men into the air, before landing on a grass area and tumbling off an embankment, then into a creek bed.
The 35-year-old sustained serious leg and ankle injuries and was airlifted in a stable condition to St George Hospital.
The 29-year-old was taken by ambulance to Wollongong Hospital.. also in a stable condition.
Police from the Southern Region Crash Investigation Unit are conducting inquiries into the crash and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or the manner of driving in the lead up to it, to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
