Today, 14 March 2025, sees the second meeting of a cross-agency taskforce set up by the Community Industry Group, to address bed block.
The group said the problem, caused by the severe shortage of aged care beds in the Illawarra, and the very significant effect on the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.
The group, along with invited politicians and stakeholders, will meet at the BlueScope Visitor Centre Coniston from 9am.
