Former Dragons and Kangaroo forward Trent Merrin has been charged over the alleged theft of cryptocurrency.
Merrin was arrested at his Barrack Point home on Tuesday morning, charged with stealing $140,000 worth of crypto, transferring the funds from a victim’s account using deceptive means.
A number of electronic devices were seized during his arrest, they’ll be examined, Merrin was granted conditional bail and will front Port Kembla Local Court on 3 December 2025.
