Caution advised for Illawarra rock fishers

Not the best few days along our coast, with big swells expected to make beach life hazardous for the next few days.

Police are reminding rock fishers to stick to a few simple rules that could save lives.

The first and most important is to wear a lifejacket – as well as always check conditions, fish with someone else, and always have a safe exit strategy.
