A serious accident on Appin Road Thursday afternoon, saw the road closed for some time, as multiple emergency crews attended.
The incident happened just after 4pm, involving a car and a truck, reports are that one man suffered life threatening injuries, while another was seriously injured.
Both were airlifted directly from the scene by emergency helicopters to different Sydney hospitals.
