Beach pollution likely again today

A number of Illawarra and South Coast beaches, are expected to have bacterial pollution again today due to the rain.

The NSW Government’s Beach Watch, advises that 10 of our beaches will be impacted, with the worst cases South of Warilla.

Beach Watch says Bombo, Surf, Werri, and Seven Mile beaches will be affected the most, with Shellharbour, Warilla, Corrimal, Bellambi, and Bulli likely to see pollution.

Rainfall data has been used to predict the likelihood of bacterial contamination at beaches in the Illawarra.
