The South Coast Labour Council has called out details, it said are contained in a secret report on Port Kembla and AUKUS.
Secretary of the South Coast Labour Council, Arthur Rorris, slamming details allegedly revealed in The Guardian newspaper
Mr Rorris told Wave FM News, “The secret reports are no longer secret, and neither are the intentions here, we want to make our intentions clear, Port Kembla is about making steel, not about making enemies, and we’re not about to surrender Port Kembla to Trump’s Navy.”
He added that, “That’s for us, for the Australian steel industry, and for local uses, this idea is dangerous, and clearly the government has done a lot more work on this than they previously indicated, if they’re fair dinkum, our local Labor representatives will rule it out once and for all.”
