The Illawarra’s being advised, to get ready for some heavy duty winds later, with the region under a Gale Warning.
The Bureau says from later this morning or early this afternoon, it expects damaging winds averaging 50kmh to 65kmh, with peak gusts of around 90kmh possible.
Advice is being offered on what to do around the home and workplace with wind like this turning up, staying away from trees, and making sure item in the backyard, the balcony, and work sites are secure.
