Essential workers from across the Illawarra and South Coast will rally to oppose the New South Wales government’s proposed cuts to workers compensation.
Organisers said the changes will affect nurses, teachers, emergency service workers, and other essential workers; adding that the move will drastically limit mental health support for injured workers.
The rally is planned from 10am today, 21 May 2025, outside Member for Wollongong Paul Scully’s office on Crown Street, Wollongong.
