Mitsubishi Recalls Faulty Vehicles

Car manufacturer Mitsubishi has announced two national recalls on vehicles with defects sold in Australia.

A door latch issue applies to the following cars:

  • 16MY XB ASX vehicles built between 23/4/2015 and 14/03/2016
  • 16MY ZK Outlander vehicles built between 23/4/2015 and 15/03/2016

Meanwhile, an airbag defect has lead to the recall of:

  • NT & NW Pajero built between 06/01/2010 and 28/12/2012

The hazards include doors opening during driving and metal fragments being deployed from the airbag inflator.

Consumers are encouraged to get in touch with Mitsubishi Motors Australia if they believe they could be affected.
