FRNSW Open Day Saturday

Illawarra firefighters are throwing open the station doors on Saturday for the annual Fire & Rescue NSW Open Day.

There'll be free activities with plenty for everyone - including firefighting demonstrations, station tours and fire safety presentations. Fire & Rescue NSW Commissioner Paul Baxter, said this year the focus is on fire prevention in the kitchen...urging people to “Keep Looking When Cooking”. Most fire stations across NSW will be open from 10.00am to 2.00pm, families are encouraged to come along and meet their local firefighters and learn more about fire prevention.
