Man's Ear Sliced Off In Wollongong Club

Police have charged Croom brothers Marko and Vaso Bubanja with affray following a horrific assault at the Towradgi Beach Hotel on Sunday night in which a patron had his ear sliced clean off.

Police have charged two men with affray following an assault at the Towradgi Beach Hotel on Sunday night in which a patron has his ear sliced clean off.

The two men in question were the Croom brothers Marko and Vaso Busbanja.

Both men have been banned from having any contact with their alleged victim and ordered to surrender any firearms or gun licences.

Detective Ainsworth said the incident occurred around 10.30pm inside Waves Nightclub. An altercation resulted in a 24-year-old man being attacked by a group of men, which allegedly included the brothers

. It is understood the ear was later picked up off the ground and transported to Wollongong Hospital alongside its one-time host in the hope it could be reattached in surgery.

Police are keen to speak to witnesses or anyone who may have more information about what occurred.
