This week's NRL is all about wearing a Beanie for Cancer

Nothing this is something amazing, in a first for the NRL, Channel NINE has teamed up with the NRL for the Beanie for Cancer Round that kicks off tonight (Thursday May 18) with the Sharks vs Cowboys match.

One person who is passionate about both NRL and the cause is Mark Hughes Foundation ambassador and former Newcastle Knights premiership-winning captain, Paul “The Chief” Harragon, and he spoke to Mel & Trav this morning about this very special Beanie for Brain Cancer round.

Please get behind this great cause and buy your beanies at the following games in NRL Round 11: 

Cronulla Sharks v North Queensland Cowboys- Thursday 18 May- Southern Cross Group Stadium

Brisbane Broncos v Wests Tigers- Friday 19 May- Suncorp Stadium
