The Brekkie Crew got their DANCE on !!!

Last night Travis and I embarked on our dancing career with the Footloose Rockers as we’ve signed up for The Rock n Roll with The Illawarra Stars Extravaganza!

We arrived at The Frat to a room full of couples dancing up a storm, reminding me of a scene out of Strictly Ballroom. We we’re quickly whisked away to a back room. Not because we were VIP or anything but because we are at the beginner-beginner level (a loooong way from the spin with a partner moves!)

Geoff Routh from Footloose Rockers started off by showing us the basics. Surprisingly, I picked it up pretty quickly and was spinning around on the dance floor (albeit with little co-ordination) in not time!

Travis on the other hand….well lets just say that when he said his feet were like besser blocks, he wasn’t lying! Dancing & Travis…not the most natural mix:

Man, August 25 doesn’t seem that far away. How are we possibly going to be fit for public consumption then!!!!
