Getting up close and personal with some animals from Nowra W…

There was a lot of fun to be had at TIGS Great Fete on Saturday- Rides, food, entertainment, lots of bargains at the second-hand stalls (I shopped up a storm there!) And, I got to have some cuddles with a few animals from Nowra Wildlife Park. Willow the wombat was very cute although I think I was enjoying the moment more than she was ;-) This Python was happy to pose: And the kids loved the wee rabbits & chicks…some getting more up close than others! Principal threatens to expel Facebook users

Leading adolescent and child psychologist Dr Michael Carr-Gregg has applauded a Toowoomba primary school principal who's threatened to expel students under the age of 13 who have a Facebook account.Leonie Hultgren, the principal of Harlaxton State School, has penned an open letter to parent's warning them of the change to the school's social media policy.In the letter Ms Hultgren said that there's been a considerable amount of Facebook traffic that either bullies a child or staff member at the school.Ms Hultgren said the school expected students would adhere to the Facebook guideline that users must be at leat 13 years...
